Your Guide To Moving Freight this Peak Season

With Christmas just a few weeks away we've put together some handy information to help you plan sending your goods around New Zealand during this busy time. 

Our service in brief...

Automatic or Daily Pick Ups
Automatic or daily pick ups will be suspended from the end of Friday 22 December until Monday 8 January 2018 due to the large number of customers that will be closed during this period.
If you are open and not yet using Mainstream EDGE to dispatch your goods we recommend calling your Mainstream branch by midday to arrange your collection during this time. Our branch contact details are available on the contacts page of our website.
Please note that we will operate a reduced fleet during the short holiday weeks so pick up times may vary. Normal daily pick up schedules will resume on 8 January 2018.

Last Call Before Christmas
Inter-island: the longer distances and time to operate via SH7 due to the closure of SH1 at Kaikoura will mean that the last departure for deliveries to be achieved to the main inter-island cities (excluding onforwardings) before Christmas will be Tuesday 19 December. Goods sent after this will be delivered from Wednesday 27 December. Please feel free to notify us if you have a specific requirement that differs from this timetable.
Intra-island (within an island): the last departure for deliveries to cities within the island before Christmas will be Thursday 21 December.
Items collected after these departure dates will be delivered on the next business day for main destinations within the island and 2-3 business days for main inter-island destinations between Christmas and New Year. 

Transit Times
Transit times may vary slightly over the Christmas period dependent upon demand and volume. Please feel free to confirm with us the expected delivery time frame when booking your pick up.
