Your Guide to Moving Freight over Christmas

With only 25 days to Christmas we've put together some useful information to help you plan your transport requirements during this time.

Our service in brief...

Mainstream will maintain normal business hours throughout the festive season (except for Statutory Holidays). Given the large number of customers that will close over the short holiday weeks we will however operate a reduced fleet.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when sending your goods during this period:

• The last departure for deliveries to the main inter-island cities (excluding onforwardings) before Christmas will be Wednesday 21st December 2011, and for all cities within the island; Thursday 22nd December.
• Between Christmas and New Year items collected after these departure dates will be delivered on the next business day for main destinations within the island, and second business day for main inter-island destinations.
• Automatic or Daily Pick-ups will be temporarily suspended from Thursday 23rd December to Monday 9th January 2011. Please phone your local branch by midday with your daily collection requirements.
• Your normal daily pick-ups will resume on Monday 9th January 2012.

On Friday 23rd December we ask that you please advise us of your pick-ups prior to 10.30am. Our last pick-ups will be completed by 12.00 noon on this day to allow our line-haul drivers to start the long journey ahead to return to their families for Christmas.
